Hey Everyone!
With mock season in full swing, we thought we'd share with you some tips & tricks to make the exams seem a little less intimidating.
- Fuel yourself ; Eating well (plenty of protein, omegas, all that good stuff) will help you to stay focused.
- Do something you like ; Whether it's taking a break to go for a stroll, a trip to the beach, or a catch up with friends - you should take some time out of your day to do something for your mental health. Exams are stressful and we need to make sure that we don't let them overwhelm us!
- Don't look backward, look forward ; Thinking too much about what you did do and what you didn't do, what you could have done and should have done, won't serve you any great purpose now. You have done your best in the exam and you will be able to approach it better come June. Don't stress too much about what could have been but rather be hopeful about what could be.
- Don't compare; Comparison is the thief of joy, as they say. Try not to compare your answers with others. If you got a different answer to others then you might spend your entire mid term ruminating on this instead of giving yourself a clap on the back for getting over the hurdle that is the mock exams.
-Try, try and try again; A lot of success is down to motivation and dedication. If you put your mind to it and work hard, you can and will achieve your goals.
